This week's most interesting search term entered to reach this blog goes to a Pennsylvania reader looking to find out: "what the fuck is a unitary operator" and ending here. Sadly, he or she probably came away no better off than when they arrived.

I thought that, back in the day, Ernestine was a unitary operator. I don't believe that she was ever actually talking with the people that she appeared to be talking with rather than just herself.
