These two just demand to be seen together.
Little People - A Tiny Street Art Project has many pictures of "little handpainted people left in London to fend for themselves". Very idiosyncratic, and very enjoyable.
And via 3QuarksDaily here is an entrancing YouTube video of a very big handpainted (?) person fending for herself in London, with some help. Part of the Sultan's Elephant by Royal De Luxe, last May in London.
You may want to see it full screen, which you can do here.
Very interesting...the small person project is reminiscent of real life in that we all go about our business with invisibility...or so it can feel in a big city.
Th large puppet is creepy.

my little ones are watching the "Chad Vader" series on you-tube. More stuff is being made just for you-tube, and no doubt soon we will have lots more content appearing here before the makers migrate to TV and onwards.
Ther's an opportunity for people with niche interests here to get their stuff more widely seen that wasn't possible before the advent of the internet.
Someone should write a book about it.
